Switch Input Language to Spanish

Benchmark Universe users that require the use of Spanish to complete an assignment can change the input language of their device.

Switch Input Language in Chromebooks

Change the input language of your device to Spanish by following the steps below:

1. Access Settings



Access the Settings menu of your Chromebook by selecting the clock at the bottom right corner and using the Gear icon.

2. Select Device Input

   

   Access the Device menu and use the Keyboards and Inputs button.

   

   Select the Input settings button.

   

   Use the Add input methods button to access the language select menu.

3. Add lnput methods

   

   Search for Spanish in the Search bar and then select Spanish from the menu. Use the Add button to add Spanish to your device.

4. Access keyboard toggle

   

   Access Settings with the Gear icon.

   

   Select the Accessibility button and access the Keyboard and text input menu.

   

   Engage the On-screen keyboard toggle and access the keyboard with the Keyboard button at the lower right corner.

5. Switch keyboard input language to Spanish

   

   Use the Globe button to open the language select menu. Select Spanish.

Switch Input Language in iPad

Change the input language of your device to Spanish by following the steps below:

1. Access Settings



Access the Settings menu of your iPad by using the Settings icon.

2. Select Keyboard

   

   Access the General menu and use the Keyboard button.

   

   Select the Keyboards button.

3. Add New Keyboard

   

   Select the Add New Keyboard button.

   

   Search for Spanish in the Search bar and then select Spanish from the menu.

4. Switch input language to Spanish

   

   Open the keyboard and use the Globe icon. Select English & Español from the language select menu.
